Singer-songwriter extraordinaire Willie Nile was born in Buffalo, New York and moved to Greenwich Village in the 70's thus entrenching himself in the fabled folk rock scene of the region. It was here between the twin banks of Lower Manhattan that Nile absorbed the dynamic tapestry of life around him and honed his craft and punk rock persona. Today, he is a well respected independent artist who plays guitar, harmonica and keyboards and his recent appearance in New Jersey on March 2, 2008 marked the 50th concert at Drew Eckmann's Cupsaw Concerts and Willie's sixth overall appearance at the lauded venue!

• Steve Winwood Roars Back With Nine Lives! The legendary singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalist Steve Winwood has signed a new deal with Columbia Records who will release the artist's highly-anticipated new major label album, "Nine Lives,". The eagerly-awaited collection is Winwood's first full-length studio album since the artist released "About Time" on his own independent label, Wincraft, in 2003 and opens an important new chapter in Steve's extraordinary career!

• A Dispatch to Zimbabwe is Released! Boston-based band, Dispatch, will release to DVD 'Dispatch: Zimbabwe - Live at Madison Square Garden,' a concert film exploring the trio's on-going efforts to raise money for the frightening situation in Zimbabwe. The 2008 DVD was released through self-owned Bomber Records (in partnership with AEG Network Live and VDI Entertainment), and 'Dispatch: Zimbabwe - Live at Madison Square Garden' was directed by renowned photographer Danny Clinch and filmed around the band's three-night sold out run at New Yorkís legendary Madison Square Garden in July!

• Styx Are Rockin' the Palisades! Styx has had a dramatic and diverse history. Hoge, looking like a wiry version of a mid-70's Springsteen and commanding his wood-grained tele to do his bidding, easily won over the central New Jersey crowd by offering up a heart warming warm-up for the legendary British rockers!

• The Nirvana for Nirvana Seekers on DVD! Nearly 14 years to the day of the filming of Nirvana's landmark "MTV Unplugged" performance, that raw, revealing and emotionally gripping acoustic concert previously seen only on television will be available for the first time on DVD. Unplugged In New York (Geffen/MTV Networks/UMe) has been releasedd and features the complete, unedited 66-minute concert including "Something In The Way" and "Oh Me" not aired during the original 44-minute broadcast!
